Analysing our twenty years' materials--394 cases, we found a high percentage of complications--79 percent. Cases of infections suppurations and calcifications due to parasites were most numerous 41 percent. Next, but surgically more interesting were cases of perforations in the abdominal cavity, then penetrations into the bile ducts, the diaphragm and the thorax, and finally cases of the gall bladder affected by the perycyst due to parasites.
