Introduction: SRS for the treatment of limited brain metastases (BM) is widely accepted, but there are still limitations in the management of numerous BM. Frameless single-isocenter multitarget SRS is a novel technique that allows for rapid treatment delivery to multiple BM. We report our preliminary clinical, dosimetric, and patient´s shifts outcomes with this technique.

Background: Blood loss during liver transplantation (LT) remains a major concern associated with increased morbidity and reduced patient and graft survival. The high complexity of the procedure associated with the multifaceted origin of the bleeding urges early identification of high-risk patients and proper monitoring of hemostasis disorders in order to improve results. The accuracy of international normalized ratio (INR) and activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) to evaluate coagulation status in cirrhotic patients has been doubted.

Inequities in access to high-quality healthcare services exacerbate these challenges, often leading to disparities in health outcomes. Missed or inaccurate diagnoses can lead to delayed or unnecessary treatments, risking worsening of the condition.

While numerous public sources of geospatial and spatiotemporal data are available to support such research, the data are challenging to work with due to inconsistencies in file formats and spatiotemporal resolutions, computational challenges with large file sizes, and a lack of tools for patient- or subject-level data integration.
Results: We developed FHIR PIT (HL7® Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources Patient data Integration Tool) as an open-source, modular, data-integration software pipeline that consumes EHR data in FHIR® format and integrates the data at the level of the patient or subject with environmental exposures data of varying spatiotemporal resolutions and file formats.
Purpose: This report details the recommendations of a Nursing Best Practice Working Group, which aims to advance best practice in the use of 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA) fluorescence-guided surgery (FGS) in patients with high-grade glioma (HGG).
Design: Quality Improvement Project.
Methods: These recommendations were gathered during a meeting of a Nursing Best Practice Working Group comprising expert nurses and practice administrators from five US centers of excellence in the management of HGG.
