Background: Although high treatment costs of breast cancer care are well documented, the relationship between delayed/forgone (D/F) care and resource utilization among patients with breast cancer is unknown. This study sought to investigate the relationship between D/F care, resource use, and healthcare expenditures among patients with breast cancer.
Methods: Data on adult female patients with breast cancer were obtained from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey to assess resource utilization and expenditures in the United States from 2007 to 2017.
Sleep and language are fundamental to human existence and have both been shown to substantially affect cognitive functioning including memory, attentional performance, and cognitive control. Surprisingly, there is little-to-no research that examines the shared impact of bilingualism and sleep on cognitive functions. In this paper, we provide a general overview of existing research on the interplay between bilingualism and sleep with a specific focus on executive functioning.

Despite this, the most prevalent method of studying MPs uses detergents to disrupt and remove this vital membrane context, impeding our ability to decipher the local molecular context and its effect. Here we develop a membrane proteome-wide platform that enables rapid spatially resolved extraction of target MPs directly from cellular membranes into native nanodiscs that maintain the local membrane context, using a library of membrane-active polymers.
