Cholestatic jaundice associated with ductopenia may be a consequence of an associated paraneoplastic process and can occur several months before the development of Hodgkin's disease. When there is a finding of jaundice of unknown etiology associated with ductopenia, the possible existence of Hodgkin's disease should be investigated.
