Background: White Matter Hyperintensities (WMH) appear on T2-weighted Fluid-Attenuated Inversion Recovery (FLAIR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and are an important biomarker of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD), cognitive decline, and stroke. With the recent conclusion of the MICCAI-Society WMH segmentation challenge, and our large clinical trials, "Risk Reduction for Alzheimer's Disease" (rrAD) and "Hypertension, Intracranial Pulsatility and Brain Amyloid-beta Clearance in older adults" (HIPAC), we investigated the differences in the total WMH volume segmented by various algorithms to ensure the extraction of accurate and meaningful image-derived phenotypes.

Defining and characterizing the role of the liaison in supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ people to navigate health-service settings: a scoping review protocol.

Objective: This scoping review seeks to identify what is known about the role of liaisons who support two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, and asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) people receiving care in health-service settings, and specifically, how the 2SLGBTQIA+ liaison role is defined and characterized.

Introduction: To mitigate the stigma and discrimination experienced by 2SLGBTQIA+ people in health-service settings, a 2SLBGTQIA+ liaison position was initiated at a Canadian hospital. A comprehensive understanding of the 2SLGBTQIA+ liaison role is integral to the implementation of 2SLGBTQIA+ liaison positions in health-service settings globally.

Feasibility of AI as first reader in the 4-IN-THE-LUNG-RUN lung cancer screening trial: impact on negative-misclassifications and clinical referral rate.

Background: Lung cancer screening (LCS) with low-dose CT (LDCT) reduces lung-cancer-related mortality in high-risk individuals. AI can potentially reduce radiologist workload as first-read-filter by ruling-out negative cases. The feasibility of AI as first reader was evaluated in the European 4-IN-THE-LUNG-RUN (4ITLR) trial, comparing its negative-misclassifications (NMs) to those of radiologists and the impact on referral rates.
