We address the targeted destruction of Karenia brevis using the algaecide calcium peroxide, in tandem with the flocculation and sinking of the species. The specific aspect of the approach is the incorporation of the algaecide within the floc to rapidly kill K. brevis, thus minimizing escape of cells from the floc and reentry to the water column.

Objective: To evaluate the long-term safety, tolerability, and efficacy of Gocovri in patients with PD experiencing levodopa-induced dyskinesia.
Methods: In this 2-year open-label trial, patients completing double-blind Gocovri clinical trials or excluded from prior trials because of deep-brain stimulation (DBS) received Gocovri 274 mg once daily at bedtime.
Amyotroph Lateral Scler Frontotemporal Degener
August 2019
The edaravone development program established a study design in which a treatment effect slowing functional loss in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) could be documented within a 24-week time frame. This report elucidates the strategic enrichment design utilized to create efficiency and precision in the development program. analyses describe learning, sequential iteration, and evolution in study design.

To avoid humeral head compression against the coracoacromial arch during the early stages of rehabilitation, physical therapists recommend movements targeting scapular retraction, shoulder depression, and arm extension such as the inverted row (IR) exercise. The purposes of this study were to describe: (1) scapular balance ratios during an IR and (2) the magnitudes of recruitment of spinal stabilizer muscles.

Methods: The safety population included 127 enrolled patients, and the full analysis set (FAS) included 88 patients.
