Objective: To explore whether parents' attendance at a commercial adult weight management programme (WMP) offers an opportunity to identify and signpost families to child weight management support, if appropriate to a child's weight status.
Design: Mixed methods study including a cross-sectional online survey and semistructured telephone interviews.
Setting And Participants: Parents attending Slimming World (UK-based adult commercial WMP), with one or more children aged 5-11 years, were invited to take part.
Background: Children and young people living with severe obesity experience a range of complications of excess weight (CEW); however the prevalence of complications is not well defined. We have evaluated baseline characteristics and CEW of patients from two UK tier 3 paediatric weight management services.
Methods: All new patients aged 2-17 years seen from March 2022 to February 2023 were included.
Topologically protected magnetic skyrmions in magnetic materials are stabilized by an interfacial or bulk Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI). Interfacial DMI decays with an increase of the magnetic layer thickness in just a few nanometers, and bulk DMI typically stabilizes magnetic skyrmions at low temperatures. Consequently, more flexibility in the manipulation of DMI is required for utilizing nanoscale skyrmions in energy-efficient memory and logic devices at room temperature (RT).

We observed that different components of the 2core level XPS spectra, of these inverse spinel thin films, are distinctly surface and bulk weighted, indicating surface-to-bulk core level shifts in the binding energies. Surface-to-bulk core level shifts in binding energies of Ni and Fe 2core levels of NiFeOthin film are observed in angle-resolved XPS.
