Background: The negative impact of trauma on health is devastating. Providers, especially those in rural areas, require support to implement trauma-informed care (TIC) on a systems level.
Objectives: This paper describes a partnership of county behavioral health administrators, service providers, and a behavioral health managed care organization and steps taken over a 5-year initiative to enhance capacity and quality of community services to meet the needs of individuals in a rural setting to receive TIC.

This report documents disease due to V. botryosa in captive, juvenile to subadult or young adult white sturgeon (Acipenser transmontanus Richardson) from California USA and complements a previous report of the disease in captive Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) from Florida USA.

Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) is a neurostimulation therapy for epilepsy and severe depression and has been recently shown to be effective for other conditions. Despite its demonstrated safety and efficacy, long-term and off-target effects of VNS remain to be fully determined. One of the complications reported in epilepsy is stimulation-induced sleep abnormalities.
