Optimized 3D-FLAIR sequences to shorten the delay between intravenous administration of gadolinium and MRI acquisition in patients with Menière's disease.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to shorten the 4-h delay between the intravenous administration of gadolinium and MRI acquisition for hydrops evaluation using an optimized 3D-FLAIR sequence in patients with Menière's disease.

Methods: This was a single-center prospective study including 29 patients (58 ears), recruited between November 2020 and February 2021. All patients underwent a 3-T MRI with an optimized 3D-FLAIR sequence without contrast then at 1 h, 2 h, and 4 h after intravenous administration of gadobutrol.

Soundscape dynamics of a cold protected forest: dominance of aircraft noise.

Context: One mainstay of soundscape ecology is to understand acoustic pattern changes, in particular the relative balance between biophony (biotic sounds), geophony (abiotic sounds), and anthropophony (human-related sounds). However, little research has been pursued to automatically track these three components.

Objectives: Here, we introduce a 15-year program that aims at estimating soundscape dynamics in relation to possible land use and climate change.

LDA Ensembles for Interactive Exploration and Categorization of Behaviors.

We define behavior as a set of actions performed by some actor during a period of time. We consider the problem of analyzing a large collection of behaviors by multiple actors, more specifically, identifying typical behaviors and spotting anomalous behaviors. We propose an approach leveraging topic modeling techniques - LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) Ensembles - to represent categories of typical behaviors by topics that are obtained through topic modeling a behavior collection.

FOLFIRI3-aflibercept in previously treated patients with metastatic colorectal cancer.

Aim: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the modified FOLFIRI3-aflibercept as second-line therapy in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer.

Methods: This is a retrospective multicenter cohort, evaluating the efficacy and safety of the association of aflibercept with FOLFIRI3 (day 1: aflibercept 4 mg/kg, folinic acid 400 mg/m, irinotecan 90 mg/m, 5-fluorouracil infusion 2400 mg/m per 46 h; day 3: irinotecan 90 mg/m) in patients with previously treated metastatic colorectal cancer. The primary endpoint was overall response rate (ORR).
