Methods: This prospective cohort study evaluated 207 patients with urosepsis. AKI was diagnosed in accordance with the Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes criteria, and severe AKI was defined as stage 2 or 3 AKI.
Background: No reliable marker has been identified to predict postoperative recurrence of gastric cancer. We designed a clinical trial to investigate the utility of serum NY-ESO-1 antibody responses as a predictive marker for postoperative recurrence in gastric cancer.
Methods: A multicenter prospective study was conducted between 2012 and 2021.
To facilitate nerve preservation during robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RP), hydrodissection (HD) using an injection catheter was performed. HD during RP is a nerve-sparing technique in which an epinephrine solution is injected into the lateral prostatic fascia to separate it from the prostatic capsule. Although the beneficial effects of HD on postoperative sexual function have been reported, HD has rarely been used in robot-assisted RP.
