Combustion of biomass and waste results in release of corrosive species, such as alkali chlorides and water vapor, which accelerate the corrosion of superheaters in the boiler. To improve our understanding of alkali-induced corrosion, long-term corrosion investigations are needed. This study utilizes a systematic approach based on long-term corrosion studies (up to 8000 h) in a well-controlled laboratory environment to understand the corrosion behavior and protectiveness of oxide scales formed on a FeCr alloy (marginal chromia former) and three overlay weld coating systems (lean FeCrAl, FeCrAl, and Ni-based alloy) in a KCl-rich environment at 600 °C.

This is especially true for Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) devices, which are expected to function on a single charge for up to 10 years while transmitting small amounts of data daily. The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) has introduced energy-saving mechanisms in Releases 13 to 16, including Early Data Transmission (EDT) and Preconfigured Uplink Resources (PURs).

It is a disease that is often diagnosed late in its course and progresses quickly. Identifying genomic mutations may provide an important utility in predicting disease course and individualizing therapy for these patients.

The effects of art and culture are often used as justification for public funding, but the research on these interventions and their effects is unclear. Using a co-word analysis of over 10,000 articles published between 1990 and 2020, we examined the characteristics of the field as we have operationalised it through our searches.
