We present novel fluorescent cholesteryl probes (CNDs) with a modular design based on the solvatochromic 1,8-phthalimide scaffold. We have explored how different modules-linkers and head groups-affect the ability of these probes to integrate into lipid membranes and how they distribute intracellularly in mouse astrocytes and fibroblasts targeting lysosomes and lipid droplets. Each compound was assessed for its solvatochromic behavior in organic solvents and model membranes.

Purpose: To demonstrate the response of a juxtapapillary retinal hemangioblastoma (JRH) to belzutifan in a patient with Von-Hippel-Lindau syndrome (VHL).
Methods: This case report includes fundus photography and optical coherence tomography to compare a juxtapapillary retinal hemangioblastoma (JRH) before and 24 months after treatment with belzutifan.
Results: An 18-year-old woman with VHL was diagnosed with a juxtapapillary retinal hemangioblastoma (JRH) at age 13.
Purpose: Pharmacologic therapies for neurofibromatosis type 1-associated plexiform neurofibromas (NF1-PNs) are limited; currently, none are US Food and Drug Administration-approved for adults.
Methods: ReNeu is an open-label, multicenter, pivotal, phase IIb trial of mirdametinib in 58 adults (≥18 years of age) and 56 children (2 to 17 years of age) with NF1-PN causing significant morbidities. Patients received mirdametinib capsules or tablets for oral suspension (2 mg/m twice daily, maximum 4 mg twice daily), regardless of food intake, in 3 weeks on/1 week off 28-day cycles.
Our understanding of bird migration is heavily biased toward long-distance movements in the Northern Hemisphere, with only fragmented knowledge from the Southern Hemisphere. In Australia, while some species migrate, the timing and direction of large-scale, multi-species seasonal movements remain critically understudied due to the complexity of movement in this region and a lack of research personnel and infrastructure. It is still unclear whether there are pronounced and structured mass movements resembling those in the Northern Hemisphere.

However, it may be challenging to identify the underlying conditions causing cancer predisposition, which can change the management for the patient and potentially their entire family. In this paper, we present 3 cases of clinically suspected WT associated with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome (BWS).
