Introduction: Medical literature has long reported the disastrous effects of neck hyperextension on posterior cerebral circulation. Hairdresser-related ischemic cerebrovascular event, also called beauty parlor syndrome, among other examples, is considered an epitome of this phenomenon.
Case Report: In this report, alluding to hairdresser-related ischemic cerebrovascular event, 2 cases of neurological impairment following hyperextension of the neck during dental treatment append to the many others, yet being 2 of the first reported in this setting.
We report the case of a 2-year-old Lebanese male child, known to have congenital factor XIII (FXIII) deficiency, who presented to the emergency department with somnolence and projectile vomiting without any head trauma. He has been on a prophylactic dose of 10 IU/kg of FXIII concentrate every 4 weeks since birth, but he missed his last 2 doses due to shortage of supply. Imaging studies showed an epidural hematoma with a midline shift.

Out of 27 patients explored by angiography and MRA, 17 had aneurysm, 5 had an aneurysm excluded by a detachable balloon, and 5 without aneurysm were used as controls. MRA, performed by the paradoxical enhancement technique, required a 3 DFT acquisition with short TR and TE (40-8 ms) in gradient echo, with a 15 degrees flip angle.

It makes it possible to go back to an examination left interrupted, but above all, it provides multiple lateral and coronal approaches in matters of epilepsy, radio-isotopes or photobiology. The advances achieved in modern imaging methods, notably CT and MRI, and the performance of modern computers have enabled us to devise an integrated imaging system meant to accelerate and make feasible calculations of penetrating trajectories, according to the position of the target as previously defined by CT and MRI sections, and taking into account the position of vessels given by angiography.

Experimental brain edema was induced in rats by stereotaxic injection of phospholipase A2 into one hemisphere. Concentrations of intravenously injected gadolinium-DOTA in the lesioned hemisphere were three times as high as in normal rat hemisphere.
