Developmental and epileptic encephalopathies constitute a group of severe epilepsies, with seizure onset typically occurring in infancy or childhood, and diverse clinical manifestations, including neurodevelopmental deficits and multimorbidities. Many have genetic aetiologies, identified in up to 50% of individuals. Whilst classically considered paediatric disorders, most are compatible with survival into adulthood, but their adult phenotypes remain inadequately understood.

Background: Most research on tracking practice locations of health students has focused on medical students, particularly the factors influencing their choice to work in rural and remote areas. However, there is limited research on how rural origin and training in regional or rural settings affect the employment destinations of dental and oral health graduates. This paper explores the practice locations of dentistry and oral health therapy (OHT) graduates from rural backgrounds compared to those from metropolitan areas in Australia.

Defining the CSF cytokine/chemokine and injury biomarker signature of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) autoimmunity can inform immunopathogenesis. CSF GFAP-IgG-positive samples (N = 98) were tested for 17 cytokines/chemokines, neurofilament light chain (NfL), and GFAP (ELLA, Bio-Techne). Controls included non-inflammatory (N = 42), AQP4-IgG-positive (N = 83), CNS infections (N = 13), and neurosarcoidosis (N = 32).

Introduction: The growing prevalence of E-cigarette use among adolescents is alarming because it increases the probability of persistent tobacco use and addiction to nicotine. Healthcare providers are in a unique position to influence their patients' use of E-cigarettes. The purpose of the study is to determine the frequency at which providers screen adolescents for E-cigarette use and advise against use during healthcare visits.

Life satisfaction around the world: Measurement invariance of the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) across 65 nations, 40 languages, gender identities, and age groups.

The Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) is a widely used self-report measure of subjective well-being, but studies of its measurement invariance across a large number of nations remain limited. Here, we utilised the Body Image in Nature (BINS) dataset-with data collected between 2020 and 2022 -to assess measurement invariance of the SWLS across 65 nations, 40 languages, gender identities, and age groups (N = 56,968). All participants completed the SWLS under largely uniform conditions.
