Optogenetics enables precise control of gene expression in a variety of organisms. We recently developed the first system for optogenetic control of transcription in Bacillus subtilis. This system is based on CcaSR, a light-responsive two-component regulatory system originally derived from Synechocystis PCC 6803.

The developed design consists of three specialised mechanisms: positioning, grasping, and cutting off of the fruit. A Finite Element Method (FEM) model was developed for the described design.

Objective: To investigate the association between SRC and plasma biomarkers in adolescents.
Design, Setting, And Participants: Prospective cohort study in Canadian sport and clinic settings (Surveillance in High Schools and Community Sport to Reduce Concussions and Their Consequences study; September 2019 to November 2022).
Targeted protein degradation (TPD) is an emerging therapeutic strategy that would benefit from new chemical entities with which to recruit a wider variety of ubiquitin E3 ligases to target proteins for proteasomal degradation. Here we describe a TPD strategy involving the recruitment of FBXO22 to induce degradation of the histone methyltransferase and oncogene NSD2. UNC8732 facilitates FBXO22-mediated degradation of NSD2 in acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells harboring the NSD2 gain-of-function mutation p.
