Over the past decade, deep learning (DL) research in computer vision has been growing rapidly, with many advances in DL-based image analysis methods for biomedical problems. In this work, we introduce MMV_Im2Im, a new open-source Python package for image-to-image transformation in bioimaging applications. MMV_Im2Im is designed with a generic image-to-image transformation framework that can be used for a wide range of tasks, including semantic segmentation, instance segmentation, image restoration, image generation, and so on.

  • Autonomous migration is crucial for immune cell function and has significant implications for various diseases.
  • ComplexEye is a new high-throughput microscope that allows for efficient analysis of cell migration in standard 96- and 384-well plates.
  • This system dramatically speeds up the process of screening for compounds that affect neutrophil migration, completing in 4 days what would typically take 60 days with standard methods.

The very broad clinical spectrum of the Mycobacterium leprae infection is due to the diversity of the underlying immunological and genetic factors. The evolutive modalities of leprosy are mainly determined by a dual pathogenesis: An infectious disease due to a bacillus of low virulence which, even when dead, persists in the body for several years, independently of the antibiotic therapy prescribed.
