Background: Nurse education is critical for preparing student nurses for clinical practice, but the transition to clinical settings poses numerous challenges. A standardized scale to assess student nurses' adjustment in the clinical area is lacking in the Philippines.

Objective: This paper described the development and evaluation of the Clinical Adjustment Scale for Student Nurses (CAS-SN).

Does stress response axis activation differ between patients with autoimmune disease and healthy people?

Many studies have shown that patients with autoimmune disease present a hypoactive hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, but the results are controversial. Our objective was to study differences in stress response axis activity between patients with autoimmune disease and healthy people. The study sample consisted of 97 women divided into four groups: 37 healthy women (HW), 21 with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), 21 with Sjögren's syndrome (SS), and 18 with systemic sclerosis (SSc).

A scoping review on the use of consumer-grade EEG devices for research.

Background: Commercial electroencephalography (EEG) devices have become increasingly available over the last decade. These devices have been used in a wide variety of fields ranging from engineering to cognitive neuroscience.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to chart peer-review articles that used consumer-grade EEG devices to collect neural data.

Development of Novel Models of Aggressive Variants of Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer.

Background: Genomic studies have identified new subsets of aggressive prostate cancer (PCa) with poor prognosis (eg, neuroendocrine prostate cancer [NEPC], PCa with DNA damage response [DDR] alterations, or PCa resistant to androgen receptor pathway inhibitors [ARPIs]). Development of novel therapies relies on the availability of relevant preclinical models.

Objective: To develop new preclinical models (patient-derived xenograft [PDX], PDX-derived organoid [PDXO], and patient-derived organoid [PDO]) representative of the most aggressive variants of PCa and to develop a new drug evaluation strategy.

Student nurses' attitudes, perceived utilization, and intention to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) technology in nursing practice: A cross-sectional study.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the attitudes and intentions of student nurses towards Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of nursing practice and to explore the relationship between their attitudes towards AI, their perceptions of AI utilization in nursing practice, and their intentions to adopt AI technology. The study hypothesized that perceived utilization of AI in nursing practice would positively influence the intention to use AI and that attitudes towards AI would mediate this relationship.
