Walking is one form of physical activity (PA) individuals affected by cancer have indicated strong preference for and interest in, regardless of disease or treatment status. We developed a community-based, outdoor, peer-led walking program for adults affected by cancer called Walk it Out (WIO). Over the span of six months, we were unable to meet targets for peer-leaders (to lead the walking groups; n = 5 self-identified) or participants (n = 0 self-identified; n = 3 recruited via peer-leaders).

The inclusion of 10 Mountain and Moorland, 3 Nordic pony breeds, 2 feral populations, and 5 horse breeds were also investigated as they may have influenced the development (or rejuvenation) of the native Canadian populations. A total of 281 samples were sequenced, which produced 75 haplotypes derived from 54 informative sites.

Along with examining four indigenous Canadian equine populations (Canadian horse, Lac La Croix pony, Newfoundland pony and Sable Island population), another 10 Mountain and Moorland, three Nordic, four horse and two feral equine populations (thought to have influenced some pony breeds) were also investigated. In total, 821 individuals were genotyped at 38 microsatellite loci.

Generally regarded as safe, an expanding body of literature reveals that fluoride's toxicity has been unappreciated, un-scrutinized, and hidden for over 70 years. The context for the literature search and review was an environmental climate-change study, which demonstrated widespread fluoride contamination by smokestack emissions from coal-fired electricity-generating plants.
