Context: The monolayers of ethylene glycol and 2-hydroxyethoxide on gold surfaces have been used in hybrid materials as biosensors. In this article, the adsorption of ethylene glycol and 2-hydroxyethoxide on the Au(111) surface was analyzed. For the first system, ethylene glycol on Au(111), there are Au O and Au H interactions.

The sustainability of this outcome has not been determined.
Objective: To examine the IHCA incidence rate at participating hospitals after the QI project ended and discern which factors best aligned with sustained improvement.
Multidrug-resistant bacteria present a significant public health challenge; such pathogens exhibit reduced susceptibility to conventional antibiotics, limiting current treatment options. Cationic non-ribosomal peptides (CNRPs) such as brevicidine and polymyxins have emerged as promising candidates to block Gram-negative bacteria. To investigate the capability of bacteria to biosynthesize CNRPs, and specifically polymyxins, over 11,000 bacterial genomes were mined in silico.

The reaction proceeds spontaneously, with activation free energy barriers of 18.19 ± 0.
