Current Patterns of Training in Personality Assessment During Internship.

Objective: Training in broad-based objective and projective personality assessments has been a mainstay of applied psychology. Stedman (2007) and Piotrowski (2015) have documented a decline in projective training during internship. This study investigated internship directors' current expectations regarding graduate school training with objective and projective instruments, their ratings of the importance of that training, and current training patterns with objective and projective instruments during internship.

Structural modifications of anguidin and antitumor activities of its analogues.

Approximately 60 derivatives of anguidin were prepared for evaluation of antitumor activities. Positions 3, 4, 8-10, and 15 were modified, and the resultant derivatives were screened against P-388 leukemia. It was found that introduction of the C3-keto and C3,C8-diketo groups markedly improved the antileukemic activity, whereas epoxidation of the C9-C10 double bond or oxidation of the C15 position diminished its activity.

Synthesis and antitumor properties of 7-deoxy-7-[(cis- and trans-3-aminocyclohexane)thio]carminomycinone.

The synthesis of analogues of carminomycin in which the daunosamine group has been replaced by (cis- and trans-3-aminocyclohexane)thio moieties is described. The new compounds were found to exhibit none of the antitumor or antibiotic activity associated with carminomycin.
