Control of such processes by heme oxygenase has implications for the onset, progression, and resolution of ARDS.
Design: Retrospective analysis of archived samples.
Objective: To ascertain the influence of albumin on antioxidant status in patients with acute lung injury.
Design: Prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled study.
