Dynamic full-field optical coherence tomography module adapted to commercial microscopes allows longitudinal in vitro cell culture study.

Dynamic full-field optical coherence tomography (D-FFOCT) has recently emerged as a label-free imaging tool, capable of resolving cell types and organelles within 3D live samples, whilst monitoring their activity at tens of milliseconds resolution. Here, a D-FFOCT module design is presented which can be coupled to a commercial microscope with a stage top incubator, allowing non-invasive label-free longitudinal imaging over periods of minutes to weeks on the same sample. Long term volumetric imaging on human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived retinal organoids is demonstrated, highlighting tissue and cell organization processes such as rosette formation and mitosis as well as cell shape and motility.

The history of diabetes mellitus is punctuated from the Egyptian Antiquity by sometimes amazingly acute clinical observations and inversely several missed opportunities on the way of the discovery of the mechanisms of the disease and of the development of its therapies.Alsace, and more generally the Rhine countries, have played a major role in this adventure, of which a crucial step has been the experimental demonstration of the role of the pancrease in the pathogenis of the disease by Oskar Minkowski and Joseph von Mering in Strasbourg in 1889.

[Recurrent facial palsy, primary Gougerot-Sjögren's syndrome and vitamin B12 deficiency].

Introduction: Differing cranial nerve involvement has been reported in the context of Gougerot-Sjögren's syndrome. Involvement of the V, III and VII nerves has been reported, the most characteristic being nerve V, notably its lower branch. Rare, well documented, cases of facial palsy have also been described.

Retrospective monocentric study of 17 patients with adult Still's disease, with special focus on liver abnormalities.

Background/aims: Adult Still's disease is one of the febrile disorders of unknown etiology, characterized by high fever, transient cutaneous rash and leukocytosis. Liver dysfunction in adult Still's disease has been described in some case reports. The objective of this study was to analyze the pattern and the frequency of liver abnormalities in a monocenter series of adult Still's disease patients.
