Background: Autoimmune pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (aPAP) is a rare disease that may progress towards pulmonary fibrosis. Data about fibrosis prevalence and risk factors are lacking.

Methods: In this retrospective multicentre nationwide cohort, we included patients newly diagnosed with aPAP between 2008 and 2018 in France and Belgium.

Usefulness of monitoring mycophenolic acid exposure in systemic sclerosis-related interstitial lung disease: a retrospective cohort study.

Background: Systemic sclerosis-related interstitial lung disease (SSc-ILD) represents a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in Systemic Sclerosis (SSc). Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) is currently the first line treatment for SSc-ILD. There is no recommendation on the dosage of mycophenolic acid (MPA) blood concentrations, so we aimed to study the correlation between MPA exposure and respiratory outcomes in this population.

Modeling and evaluation of ivermectin release kinetics from 3D-printed tablets.

This study focused on evaluating the influence of geometric dimensions on the drug release kinetics of 3D-printed tablets. An ink based on Gelucire 50/13 was prepared to print ivermectin-loaded tablets. The ink was characterized physicochemically and tablet dissolution tests were carried out.

Believe in your self-control: Lay theories of self-control and their downstream effects.

Self-control is the ability to inhibit temptations and persist in one's decisions about what to do. In this article, we review recent evidence that suggests implicit beliefs about the process of self-control influence how the process operates. While earlier work focused on the moderating influence of willpower beliefs on depletion effects, we survey new directions in the field that emphasize how beliefs about the nature of self-control, self-control strategies, and their effectiveness have effects on downstream regulation and judgment.
