Background: Prenatally transmitted viruses can cause severe damage to the developing brain. There is unexplained variability in prenatal brain injury and postnatal neurodevelopmental outcomes, suggesting disease modifiers. Of note, prenatal Zika infection can cause a spectrum of neurodevelopmental disorders, including congenital Zika syndrome.

Both human-written and AI-generated reports can contain errors, ranging from clinical inaccuracies to linguistic mistakes. To address this, we introduce ReXErr, a methodology that leverages Large Language Models to generate representative errors within chest X-ray reports.

The cargo adapter protein SNX17 has been implicated in recruiting the Retriever complex to endosomal membranes, yet the details of this interaction have remained elusive. Through biophysical and structural model-guided mutagenesis studies with recombinant proteins and liposomes, we have gained a deeper understanding of this process.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTriple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is challenging to treat because of its lack of specific molecular targets. The IMMUNOPEG study aimed to evaluate a novel structured method for interpreting TNBC immunohistochemistry specimens processed with VENTANA PD-L1 (SP142) assay. The study involved 10 pathologists who evaluated 50 different immunohistochemistry specimens of TNBC with programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression considered challenging and that were previously evaluated by the scientific committee, using the NAVIFY Digital Pathology platform.
