Importance: Since fibroblast growth factor receptor inhibitors (FGFRi) are used for treatment of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA), understanding potential complications following longer-term use in clinical practice settings is warranted. This study describes cataract formation or progression as a complication of FGFRi use for the treatment of iCCA, even after treatment discontinuation.
Objective: To describe cases of cataract formation or worsening in patients with iCCA treated with FGFRi and to characterize the ophthalmologic features, risk factors, and outcomes for FGFRi-associated cataracts.
Purpose: This study evaluates surgical outcomes and complication rates of frontalis suspension with expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE).
Methods: This retrospective cohort study reviewed all patients undergoing frontalis suspension surgery using ePTFE as the sling material from January 1 2012 to March 3 2020 by a single surgeon at a single academic center. Two different surgical techniques were evaluated in the placement of the sling material.
X-ray computed tomography (XCT) enables the dimensional measurement and inspection of highly geometrically complex engineering components that are unmeasurable using optical and tactile instruments. Conventional XCT scans use a circular scan trajectory where X-ray projections are acquired with a uniform angular spacing; this approach treats all projections as being of equal importance, in practice, some projections contain more object information than others. In this work we capitalize on this concept by intelligently selecting projections with a view to improve the quality of surface models extracted from an XCT data-set.

Muscle transposition surgeries serve as suitable alternatives to simple resection-recessions. Here, we report outcomes of augmented Hummelsheim and X-type transpositions for the correction of large-angle strabismus and provide insights for surgical planning.
