Introduction And Objective: Subcentimeter pulmonary nodules (SPN) found in clinical stage I (CS I) seminoma may be early pulmonary metastases or incidental, benign entities that may lead to patient anxiety and overtreatment. This study aims to demonstrate the incidence and natural history of SPN in CS I seminoma patients.
Methods: A retrospective study reviewing the medical records of CS I seminoma patients treated at UC San Diego Health between 2003 and 2023.
Objectives: This study examines prenatal care utilization differences in Arkansas.
Methods: Birth records data from the National Center for Health Statistics were used. The study population consisted of singleton live births in Arkansas from 2014 to 2022.
Purpose: Screening for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) currently relies on clinical evaluations by trained practitioners, most commonly using a scoliometer. Modern structured light 3D scanning can generate high-quality 3D representations of surface anatomy using a mobile device. We hypothesized that a mobile-based 3D scanning system would provide accurate deformity assessments compared to a scoliometer.

As part of our experiments to characterize solid -hydrogen (-H) as a matrix host for electronic spectroscopy with potential applications in the ongoing quest for the carriers of the diffuse interstellar bands (DIB), we studied dispersed fluorescence and fluorescence excitation spectra of ovalene (CH), a planar polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) of symmetry. Although generally in good agreement with previously reported data for jet-cooled CH, our results, in conjunction with quantum-chemical calculations, indicate that the observed spectral progressions are associated with the ()-() electronic transition instead of the originally assigned - transition for CH in a supersonic jet, and that the previously reported origin band was misassigned and should be located at ∼21050 cm. The reassignment is further supported by the comparably long fluorescence lifetime of ∼1.
