Background: To examine the prevalence and pattern of pathology related to impacted teeth and other areas in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Government Dental College in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Material And Methods: This 5-year single-center retrospective cohort study was conducted in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the government dental college and hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar between 2019 and 2024. Based on age, sex, area, presence of impacted tooth, radiological and histopathological report.

Comparison of Autologous Blood Injection and Dextrose Prolotherapy in the Treatment of Chronic Recurrent Temporomandibular Dislocation: A Randomized Clinical Trial.

Introduction: Prolotherapy is a minimally invasive technique that aims to functionally restore or repair the soft and hard tissues of the TMJ by injecting a stimulant. The present study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of dextrose and autologous blood injection (ABI) as prolotherapy agents in the treatment of patients with chronic recurrent TMJ dislocation (CRTD).

Materials And Method: Thirty-two patients were divided into two groups-ABI and dextrose ( = 16 each).

Introduction: The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of pre-adjusted three-dimensional (3D) plating system employing 3D printing with conventional 3D plating in the management of mandibular fractures.

Materials And Methods: A randomised, clinical trial was conducted where the study sample ( = 20) was divided into two groups. In Group 1, 3D plate and in Group 2, pre-bent 3D plate was fixed to the fracture site.

The efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy as compared to upfront surgery for the management of oral squamous cell carcinoma: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

The efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the field of head and neck oncology has always been debated. The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by surgery in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) by comparison to upfront surgery, in terms of overall survival, disease-free survival, response rates, positive surgical margins, loco-regional recurrence, distant metastasis, and toxicity.
