Some recent waveguide-based antennas are presented in this paper, designed for the next generation of communication systems operating at the millimeter-wave band. The presented prototypes have been conceived to be manufactured using different state-of-the-art techniques, involving subtractive and additive approaches. All the designs have used the latest developments in the field of manufacturing to guarantee the required accuracy for operation at millimeter-wave frequencies, where tolerances are extremely tight.

Whilst well understood in peripheral myeloid cells, the pathophysiological significance of autoantibody-induced Fc receptor signalling in microglia remains unknown, in part due to the lack of a robust in vivo model. Moreover, the application of therapeutic antibodies for neurodegenerative disease also highlights the importance of understanding Fc receptor signalling in microglia.

The accomplished design shows an excellent performance: the experimental prototype has a return loss better than 30 dB, with a balance for the amplitudes of (±0.15 dB) and (±2.

We have therefore decided to investigate delta-aminolevulinate dehydratase, one of the more sensitive enzymes in the haem pathway, in both human diabetic patients and diabetic rats. We have studied 131 diabetes mellitus patients, 32 insulin dependent and 99 non-insulin dependent.

Methods: We have followed quarterly during two years a cohort of 24 patients with HIV infection; 103 clinical and laboratory evaluations were done (CDC/93 classification). In each of those blood samples we determined ADA, beta 2M, IgG, IgA, IgM, and CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocytes.
