Near-infrared (NIR)-II fluorescence imaging-guided photodynamic therapy (PDT) has shown great potential for precise diagnosis and treatment of tumors in deep tissues; however, its performance is severely limited by the undesired aggregation of photosensitizers and the competitive relationship between fluorescence emission and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation. Herein, we report an example of an anionic pentamethine cyanine (C5T) photosensitizer for high-performance NIR-II fluorescence imaging-guided PDT. Through the counterion engineering approach, a triphenylphosphine cation (Pco) modified with oligoethylene glycol chain is synthesized and adopted as the counterion of C5T, which can effectively suppress the excessive and disordered aggregation of the resulting C5T-Pco by optimizing the dye amphipathicity and enhancing the cyanine-counterion interactions.

The influence of environmental factors and management types on grassland biodiversity has garnered considerable attention. This study investigated how patterns of species richness are influenced by geographical distance, environmental gradients, and management type in the moist mountain grasslands of northeastern Yunnan, China.

Introduction: This is a double clinical trial conducted to study the patient satisfaction and comfort during and after surgical removal of impacted mandibular 3rd molar using Piezo electric tips.
Material And Methods: Two groups of 25 each [14 (56 %) males and 11 (44 %) females] and [18 (72 % males and 07 (28 %) females] represented the Rotary and Piezo groups respectively with bilateral impactions. one side of the patient is operated by piezo and the other side by rotary instrument after a gap of 2-3 week between the procedures.
Objectives: ADAMTS-2 is a procollagen N-proteinase that plays an important role in inflammation regulation. The objective of our research is to explore the expression of ADAMTS-2 in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), and analyze its relationship with clinical features of SLE, and evaluate the potential value of ADAMTS-2 as a diagnostic biomarker in SLE.
Methods: ADAMTS-2 expression in PBMCs was detected by RT-qPCR in SLE patients, RA patients, and healthy controls (HC).
Integrating liquid metal (LM) with wood fibers for flexible paper electronics is intriguing yet extremely challenging due to poor mechanical performance. Here, we disclose a hemicellulose trapping strategy to achieve exceptional ultrastrong and tough LM-based paper electronics. Holocellulose nanofibrils (HCNFs) with hemicellulose retention of approximately 20 % are found to effectively entrap nanoscale LM within the fibril network, analogous to spider silk capturing small water droplets.
