Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV)-driven cancers include head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and cervical cancer and represent approximately 5% of all cancer cases worldwide. Standard-of-care chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are associated with adverse effects and limited responses in patients with HPV-driven cancers. The integration of targeted therapies with ICIs may improve outcomes.

Aurora kinase A inhibition leads to apoptosis and immunogenic cell death in preclinical models of human papilloma virus (HPV)-driven cancers.
Experimental Design: Alisertib was administered orally twice daily on days 1-7 and pembrolizumab on day 1 of a 21-day cycle to adults with advanced solid tumors (phase 1) or with immunotherapy- and platinum-resistant, HPV-positive HNSCC (phase 2).
Purpose: Craniopharyngiomas can be aggressive leading to significant complications and morbidity. It is not clear whether there are any predictive factors for incidence or outcomes. Our aim was therefore to record the incidence, presentation, characteristics and progression of paediatric craniopharyngiomas in the West of Scotland.

Methods: A cross-sectional mixed-methods study undertaken in tertiary care teaching institute South India. After ethical approval, 380 postpartum women within 72 h of delivery were recruited for the study.
The IoT networks for implementing mission-critical applications need a layer to effect remote communication between the cluster heads and the microcontrollers. Remote communication is affected through base stations using cellular technologies. Using a single base station in this layer is risky as the fault tolerance level of the network will be zero when the base stations break down.
