Antiferromagnets with highly stable but switchable Néel vectors are desired for antiferromagnetic spintronics with ultrafast speed and terahertz frequencies. Electrical switching of antiferromagnetic insulators has been demonstrated using binary antiferromagnets, while large families of complex antiferromagnets such as perovskites are largely unexplored. Here, we show that epitaxial LaFeO thin films on SrTiO(001) exhibit clear, robust biaxial anisotropy with a spin-flop field of a few tesla.

The pathophysiological pathways of infection and cardiovascular disease intersect, and there is a bidirectional relationship between the two. Vaccines are available for the most common infectious diseases affecting older adults, such as influenza, pertussis, pneumococcal disease, herpes zoster, COVID and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

Pharmacological inhibition of the cyclophilin B isoform has the potential to attenuate liver fibrosis in MASH, but current cyclophilin inhibitors in clinical trials lack isoform selectivity. We previously reported the novel tri-vector small-molecule inhibitor that exhibited improved subtype selectivity by simultaneously engaging three pockets on the surface of cyclophilins.

Objectives: This study aims to assess IC and investigate the relationship between SES and IC deficits, with a particular focus on the role of subjective SES.
Design: Cross-sectional study SETTING: 45 communities in two provinces in China PARTICIPANTS: Community-dwelling middle-aged and older adults aged 50 and above MEASUREMENTS: IC was assessed following the Integrated Care for Older People guideline.
Objectives: Lung ultrasound (LU) is effective in diagnosing the accumulation of extravascular lung water and assessing real-time fluid status in infants following congenital cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass. This study evaluated whether LU can be used as a prognostic marker for changes in noninvasive respiratory support after extubation.
Methods: Infants with congenital heart disease (CHD) <1 year of age requiring mechanical ventilation for more than 24 hours postoperatively were included.
