Background: Despite the importance of lower limb sensation in walking highlighted in systematic reviews, there is limited research investigating the effect of proprioceptive deficits after stroke and any relationship with walking ability.
Objectives: With stroke survivors of different walking ability, this study aimed to (1) explore side (affected/unaffected) and movement direction (inversion/plantar flexion) effects in ankle joint position sense (JPS) acuity, and (2) compare ankle JPS acuity between groups of stroke survivors with different walking ability.
Methods: Seventy subacute stroke survivors were recruited and divided into three groups based on walking ability, as determined by their gait speed on the 10-Meter Walking Test: household (<0.
Tripartite motif-containing 47 (TRIM47) is a member of the TRIM family, which has E3 ligase activity and has been demonstrated to be involved in tumor development. In this work, we found that TRIM47 is highly expressed in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC) tissues. TRIM47 overexpression promoted HNSCC cell proliferation.

Severe diseases or bladder injuries often lead to tissue destruction and loss of normal function, requiring surgical intervention and reconstruction. The rapid development of innovative biomaterials has brought revolutionary opportunities for modern urology to overcome the limitations of tissue transplantation.

However, effective control measures and strategies have not been identified. In this study, a recombinant Marek's disease virus (rMDV) expressing the VP1 and VP2 proteins of CIAV was successfully constructed using CRISPR/Cas9, and a commercial Marek's disease virus (MDV) vaccine strain was used as the vector.

In this study, we identified the deubiquitinating enzyme Josephin domain-containing protein 2 (JOSD2) as a protective factor and investigated its molecular mechanism in Ang II-induced vascular remodeling. First, we found that JOSD2 was upregulated in aortic smooth muscle cells, but not in endothelial cells of Ang II-challenged mouse vascular tissues.
