Background: Recent randomized trials have demonstrated the efficacy of mechanical thrombectomy in treating acute ischemic stroke, however, further research is required to optimize this technique. We aimed to evaluate the impact of guide catheter position and clot crossing on revascularization rates using A Direct Aspiration First Pass Technique (ADAPT).

Methods: Data were collected between January 2018 and August 2019 as part of the Spanish ADAPT Registry on ACE catheters (SARA), a multicenter observational study assessing real-world thrombectomy outcomes.

[Endovascular treatment of carotid disease in patients at high surgical risk].

Aims: To analyse the perioperative morbi-mortality rates during the first 30 days following endovascular therapy in patients with carotid stenosis and important risk factors for surgery. We also sought to determine the survival rate, the percentage of patients that were stroke-free and the percentage of cases of restenosis during the follow-up period.

Patients And Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on a series of 100 patients with symptomatic > 50% and asymptomatic > 70% carotid stenosis, who underwent endovascular therapy between January 2000 and December 2006 because of the important risk factors they presented.

[Endovascular treatment of dural arteriovenous fistulas with medullary venous drainage. Experience with 18 patients].

[Primary cerebral lymphoma of T phenotype in an immunocompetent patient].

Introduction: Primary lymphoma of the central nervous system (PLCNS) makes up 1% of all intracranial tumours and 1% of all lymphomas [1]. It has been described in different types of immunodeficiencies, but in recent years has been increasingly found in immunocompetent persons. The LPSNC are usually B cell tumours, so the T phenotype is yet another rare aspect.
