Introduction: Digital health techniques were adopted faster during COVID-19, but the gap remains. This study analyzes how the digital gap affected pandemic patient portal uptake during and after. Patient portals improve physician connections and patient health information access, increasing health outcomes.

In clinical practice, we observed that patients with malignant pleural effusion (MPE) and concurrent heart disease exhibited a decrease in MPE volumes following treatment with β-receptor blockers for heart disease. Immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment was found to play a substantial role in the progression of MPE, and mainly attributed to tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs).

Nevertheless, it remains unclear whether EBR enhances leaf nicotine content under low temperature conditions during the mature stage of flue-cured tobacco.

Here we report an anthraquinone carbonyl-containing COF as anode for AAIBs, which exhibits a high specific capacity of 141 mAh g-1 at 0.1 A g-1 and good cycling stability with 90% retention after 8000 cycles at 6 A g-1.

Manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD/SOD2) is an essential mitochondrial enzyme that detoxifies superoxide radicals generated during oxidative respiration. MnSOD/SOD2 lysine 68 acetylation (K68-Ac) is an important post-translational modification (PTM) that regulates enzymatic activity, responding to nutrient status or oxidative stress, and elevated levels have been associated with human illness. To determine the in vivo role of MnSOD-K68 in the heart, we used a whole-body non-acetylation mimic mutant (MnSOD) knock-in mouse.
