Purpose: Prior literature has suggested a reduced performance of large language models (LLMs) in non-English analyses, including Arabic and French. However, there are no current studies testing the multimodal performance of ChatGPT in French ophthalmology cases, and comparing this to the results observed in the English literature. We compared the performance of ChatGPT-4 in French and English on open-ended prompts using multimodal input data from retinal cases.

This study compared the relative effectiveness of all interventions that prevent depression (objective 1) or treat depression symptoms (objective 2) in perinatal women.
Methods: Eight databases searched from their inception to March 2024.
Background: There is no consensus about the best treatment for Dupuytren contracture in the hand. In particular, whether to use a percutaneous needle fasciotomy (PCNF) in preference to a limited fasciectomy (LF).
Methods: We performed a retrospective review of the outcomes of 74 joints treated with either PCNF or LF.
Flexible and navigable suction ureteral access sheath (FANS) is a potential game changer in flexible ureteroscopy (FURS). The influence of sheath size on outcomes needs research. The primary aim was to analyze 30-day single stage stone free status (SFS), zero fragment rate (ZFR) and complications when using 10/12Fr sheaths vis a vis other sheath sizes.
