Adaptive control has been studied in Parkinson's disease mainly in the context of proactive control and with mixed results. We compared reactive- and proactive control in 30 participants with Parkinson's disease to 30 age matched healthy control participants. The electroencephalographic activity of the participants was recorded over 128 channels while they performed a numerical Stroop task, in which we controlled for confounding stimulus-response learning.

This article illustrates the recent developments in Plastic Surgery, which faces new challenges in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Using the example of a Plastic Surgery department in a maximum care clinic facility in Berlin, we show recent courses of action, that may be relevant for other hospitals and that can possibly help to handle the recent situation as well as possible further waves of infections and to create a constructive way back into Plastic Surgery routine.A view into the future also shows, that in the context of COVID-19 new tasks will challenge our discipline in clinics as well as in private practice.

We report the case of a patient with late-onset seroma, who was initially diagnosed with an implant-related infection of the breast due to microbial detection in the seroma fluid, thus delaying the diagnosis of BIA-ALCL.
