View Article and Find Full Text PDFUnder experimental conditions, the effect of the administration of 5% the Nizný Hrabovec locality was studied as exerted on the health condition, blood picture, weight gains, faeces production and odour in pigs and on the course of gastroenterites of alimentary origin affecting these animals. The administration of mixture A1 with a 5% zeolite supplement did not exert any undesired influence on the white or red blood picture and on the general condition of health; on the contrary, weight gains increased by 23% as compared with the controls. The faeces of the treated animals were normally shaped and the odour was just slight.
