Background: Educating patients regarding thier inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is important for their empowerment and disease management. We aimed to develop a questionnaire to evaluate patient understanding and knowledge of IBD.

Methods: We have developed the Understanding IBD Questionnaires (U-IBDQ), consisting of multiple-choice questions in two versions [for Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC)].

This study evaluates the yield of CTPA for pulmonary embolism across a variety of patient care settings in a community-based healthcare system, providing relevant benchmarks for potential quality improvement efforts.

Methods: This retrospective study included data collected from three sites within a single community-based healthcare system, including a tertiary care level 1 trauma center, an urban community hospital, and a suburban free-standing emergency department.

Carriage of Neisseria meningitidis in Men Who Have Sex With Men Presenting to Public Sexual Health Clinics, New York City.

Background: We conducted a Neisseria meningitidis (Nm) carriage study among men who have sex with men (MSM) to explore possible sexual transmission.

Methods: We paired information on patient characteristics with oropharyngeal, rectal, and urethral Nm culture results to assess associations with Nm carriage among 706 MSM at New York City sexual health clinics. The Nm isolates were characterized by whole genome sequencing.
