Ventral partial diphallia associated with hypospadias: A case report.

Diphallia, or penile duplication, is a rare congenital urological malformation. It may be associated with other congenital malformations. The objective of present paper is to report the case of a two-year boy with ventral duplication of the penis associated with proximal hypospadias.

Bladder exstrophy: Modern staged repair experience in our institution.

Introduction: Bladder exstrophy is a major malformation in paediatric urology. The treatment results are not still completely satisfactory, and their management is an enormous problem in Sub-Saharan Africa. While outlining our challenges, we report our management experience to improve our results.

Priapism in the newborn: Management of a case.

Priapism is extremely rare in newborns and generally idiopathic. The objective of present paper is to report the case of a newborn with priapism on the 2nd day of life. Clinical and paraclinical assessment did not reveal an etiology.

Molecular confirmation of varietal status in bottle gourd () using genotyping-by-sequencing.

Bottle gourd () is an important food, medicinal, and utilitarian crop with a large pan-tropical distribution. Two morphologically different types in the subspecies are sufficiently different to be considered as varieties, but they are assigned into different taxonomic ranks. Genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) of 95 different accessions from the Nangui Abrogoua University collection was used to confirm the varietal status in bottle gourd.

Five new cassane diterpenes from the seeds and bark of Erythrophleum suaveolens.

Five new cassane-type diterpenoid heterosides, i. e. two cassane-type amides (1-2), two erythrophlamine-type amine esters (3-4) and a non‑nitrogenous erythrophlamine analogue (5) were isolated from the root barks (1-2) and the seeds (3-5) of Erythrophleum suaveolens.
