Low-redshift measurements of baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) measure the late-time evolution of the Universe and are a vital probe of dark energy. Over the past decade both the 6-degree Field Galaxy Survey (6dFGS) and Sloan Digital Sky Survey Main Galaxy Sample (SDSS MGS) have provided important distance constraints at [Formula: see text] < 0.3.

We aimed to characterize antimetreleptin antibody development, including in vitro neutralizing activity.
Design: Two randomized controlled studies in patients with obesity (twice-daily metreleptin ± pramlintide for 20-52 weeks; 2006-2009); two long-term, open-label studies in patients with lipodystrophy (once-daily or twice-daily metreleptin for 2 months to 12·3 years; 2000-2014).
The 21 cm background from the epoch of reionization is a promising cosmological probe: line-of-sight velocity fluctuations distort redshift, so brightness fluctuations in Fourier space depend upon angle, which linear theory shows can separate cosmological from astrophysical information. Nonlinear fluctuations in ionization, density, and velocity change this, however. The validity and accuracy of the separation scheme are tested here for the first time, by detailed reionization simulations.

Here, we assessed the comparative efficacy of amylin, leptin, or amylin + leptin in the maintenance of amylin + leptin-mediated weight loss. DIO rats pretreated with the combination of rat amylin (50 microg/kg/day) and murine leptin (125 microg/kg/day) for 4 weeks were subsequently infused with either vehicle, amylin, leptin, or amylin + leptin for an additional 4 weeks.
