Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) include various childhood stressors that can negatively impact the health and well-being of children. ACEs are associated with poor academic achievement. Attention is strongly associated with academic achievement, and there is a graded relationship between ACEs exposure and subsequent development of parent-reported ADHD; however, it is unclear whether ADHD symptoms mediate the relationship between ACEs and academic achievement.

Methods: The study included consecutive adult patients with PCR-verified influenza A or B in 12 Swedish intensive care units (ICUs) over four influenza seasons (2019-2023). Patients were screened using serum galactomannan and β-d-glucan tests and fungal culture of a respiratory sample at inclusion and weekly during the ICU stay.
Objective: To investigate the impact of steroid-eluting implants after endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) on health care resource use (HCRU) in chronic rhinosinusitis patients with (CRSwNP) and without (CRSsNP) nasal polyps.
Methods: This retrospective, observational cohort study using real-world evidence data included adult patients with CRS who underwent ESS in 2015-2019 with at least 24 months of data before and after ESS. Patients who received implants were matched to patients who did not based on a propensity score developed using baseline characteristics and NP status.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) developed and implemented the v-safe after vaccination health checker (v-safe) to monitor COVID-19 vaccine safety and as an active surveillance supplement to existing CDC vaccine safety monitoring programs. V-safe allows persons who received COVID-19 vaccines to report on post-vaccination experiences and how symptoms affected their health at daily, weekly, and monthly timepoints after vaccination. Text message reminders are sent linking to Internet-based health check-in surveys.

Strategies exist for this diagnosis in magnetic confinement fusion plasmas, which presently have a lifetime of ∼10 longer than inertial confinement fusion (ICF) plasmas. Here, we present a novel concept for a simple, precise, and scale-able diagnostic to measure time-resolved neutron spectra in ICF plasmas.
