[Lavage of the whole lung in a patient with pulmonary alveolar lipoproteinosis].

The first in Poland procedure of whole lung lavage is reported. The patient had intravitally diagnosed pulmonary alveolar lipoproteinosis. Difficulties in an effective and safe performance of the procedure are discussed.
