Objective: The body roundness index (BRI) and circadian syndrome (CircS) are considered new risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD), yet it remains uncertain whether elevated BRI is associated with CVD incidence in CircS patients. In this study, we investigated the association between BRI and CVD occurrence among CircS participants.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study involving 8,888 participants aged ≥45 years from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS 2011-2020 wave).

This paper develops a novel temporal difference Q (TD-Q) learning approach, designed to address the robust control challenge in discrete-time Markov jump systems (MJSs) which are characterized by entirely unknown dynamics and transition probabilities (TPs). The model-free TD-Q learning method is uniquely comprehensive, including two special cases: Q learning for MJSs with unknown dynamics, and TD learning for MJSs with undetermined TPs. We propose an innovative ternary policy iteration framework, which iteratively refines the control policies through a dynamic loop of alternating updates.

To investigate the effects of chronic HBV infection on the outcome of in vitro fertilisation-embryo transfer and clinical characteristics of newborns, as well as the factors influencing different outcomes of in vitro fertilisation-embryo transfer (IVF-ET). In this study, a total of 3900 couples undergoing IVF-ET were collected and divided into four groups according to the different HBsAg carrier status of each couple, comparing the general demographic data and clinical characteristics between the four groups, analysing the differences in IVF-ET outcomes between the groups, and using multifactorial analysis of factors influencing their IVF-ET outcomes. The results showed that no significant differences (p > 0.
