Introduction: The clinical presentation of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) can vary widely, and while the primary infection involves the respiratory system, other organs can also be affected. This study presents the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in a tertiary hospital in Ado Ekiti, South-West Nigeria.

Materials And Methods: This is a retrospective study involving COVID-19 patients admitted to the isolation ward between August 2020 and January 2021.

Objective: To present management challenges, surgical technique, and outcome associated with penoscrotal reconstruction in patients with giant scrotal lymphedema in sub-Saharan Africa.

Methods: A prospective study of all patients who had penoscrotal reconstruction for giant scrotal lymphedema at our university teaching hospital between January 2003 and December 2012 was carried out. Patients' preoperative clinical evaluation findings, operative technique, and postoperative course were reviewed after obtaining ethical approval and informed consent from the patients.

A 40 year old female Nigerian with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus was referred to a teaching hospital with four week history of facial rash that progressed to extensive ulceration of the mid face and bilateral visual loss. She had complete nasal bridge collapse, nasopalatal fistula with black eschars on the mucosa and markedly elevated fasting blood sugar. Her blood glucose was controlled on insulin, She had surgical debridement and histopathological study done revealed fungi hyphae.

Introduction: Congenital cleft lip and palate (CLP) defects usually present in childhood, especially in places with available and affordable care. In Nigeria, their incidence is low but late presentation in Adult life have been reported. This article aims at reviewing adolescent and adult CLP patients in our center, with the advent of free and available care, and to document the patterns and management outcomes of these patients as an addition to existing literature on the subject of adult CLP.
