Background And Purpose: Knowledge-based planning (KBP) can consistently and efficiently create high-quality Volumetric Arc Therapy (VMAT) plans for cervix cancer. This study describes the cross-validation of two KBP models on geographically distinct populations and their comparison to manual plans from 67 centers. The purpose was to determine the universal applicability of a generic KBP model.

Continuous use of contaminated food raises health concerns and given this the present study designed to investigate the effects of 3 non-permitted azo dyes (metanil yellow - MY, malachite green - MG, and sudan III - SIII) on neurobehavioral, neurochemicals, mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, and histopathological changes in the corpus striatum of rats. Rats were grouped and treated with MY (430 mg/kg), MG (13.

Two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography (2D-STE) can detect both regional and global myocardial strain. Impairment of ventricular strain can assist in the early detection of myocardial dysfunction.

Here, we present a study to evaluate the preventive activity of a combination of clinical antimalarial drug candidates, cabamiquine and ganaplacide, that have multistage activity against the liver and blood stages of infection. Cabamiquine (DDD107498, M5717) inhibits parasite protein synthesis, and ganaplacide (KAF156) inhibits protein trafficking, blocks the establishment of new permeation pathways, and causes endoplasmic reticulum expansion.

Materials And Methods: Patients with stage IB2-IVA cervical cancer, treated with external beam radiation (EBRT) ± chemotherapy followed by abbreviated MR/CT-based HDR-BT were included. The planning aim was to achieve > 70Gy equivalent doses in 2Gy (EQD2) at Point A dose in patients undergoing intracavitary BT (ICBT) and > 85Gy EQD2 to the HRCTV in intracavitary-interstitial BT (IC-ISBT).
