Atypical femoral fractures (AFFs) are rare fractures usually associated with medications that can ultimately alter bone metabolism. Imatinib, a drug prescribed for treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), has been associated with altered bone homeostasis, however, with unknown clinical significance.
