Gut microbial metabolism of L-carnitine, which leads to the production of detrimental trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO), offers a plausible link between red meat consumption and cardiovascular risks. Several microbial genes, including , the operon, and the recently identified gene cluster, have been implicated in the conversion of dietary L-carnitine into TMA(O). However, the key microbial genes and associated gut microbes involved in this pathway have not been fully explored.

Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (Trop-2) is highly expressed in HNSCC. Sacituzumab govitecan (SG) is a Trop-2-directed antibody-drug conjugate approved for patients with certain previously treated solid tumors.

Circadian clocks respond to temperature changes over the calendar year, allowing organisms to adjust their daily biological rhythms to optimize health and fitness. In , seasonal adaptations are regulated by temperature-sensitive alternative splicing (AS) of () and () genes that encode key transcriptional repressors of clock gene expression. Although () gene encodes the critical activator of circadian gene expression, AS of its transcripts and its potential role in temperature regulation of clock function have not been explored.

However, the underlying mechanisms by which the sensation of food triggers the acute behavioral response remain elusive.
