Background: Several major sensitization profiles have been described in children with asthma, but it remains unclear how these profiles relate to asthma phenotypes. The aim of this study was to determine allergenic sensitization profiles in a megacity cohort (SAMP).
Methods: This was a cross-sectional analysis performed from 2011 to 2015 including preschool and school-age children with severe and moderate asthma from the SAMP cohort.
Background: Chronic non-cancer pain (CNCP) is a common condition worldwide. The disease burden is influenced not only by pain itself, but also by psychiatric co-morbidities, which aggravate symptoms, generally negatively influence therapies, and may thereby lead to frustration, resignation, or withdrawal. A growing body of evidence suggests that sex and gender aspects influence CNCP management as the experience of pain, the emotions associated with it, and the expression of pain may differ between women and men.

Spectra indicate reversible changes during oxidation and reduction by O and CO at 150 °C, attributed to a transformation between FeO bilayer and FeO trilayer phases. The trilayer phase is also reduced upon heating in CO+O , consistent with a Mars-van-Krevelen type mechanism for CO oxidation.
