Management of compound odontoma with 70 denticles and impacted lateral incisor over an 8-year follow-up.

Odontomas are benign developmental tumors formed by the improper growth of completely differentiated epithelial and mesenchymal cells of odontogenic origin. The etiology of odontoma is unknown and it is detected during routine radiographic examination. The ideal management is early detection and surgical enucleation.

Lesion Sterilization and Tissue Repair in Nonvital Primary Teeth: An Study.

Aim And Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical and radiographic success of endodontic treatment of nonvital primary teeth using lesion sterilization and tissue repair (LSTR) therapy.

Materials And Methods: A sample size of 40 primary molars from 34 children of 3-10 years of age were selected for the study. Nonvital primary molars were treated using LSTR technique with a combination of antibacterial drugs comprising ciprofloxacin, metronidazole, and doxycycline with propylene glycol as vehicle.

Aim: To report the successful and conservative management of a fractured immature permanent maxillary incisor tooth with talon cusp by fracture reattachment.

Summary: Coronal fractures of the maxillary anterior teeth are common dental injuries. Among these, the complicated fractures especially in immature teeth require an unambiguous treatment without any delay.
