Activity-dependent modulations of N-methyl-D-aspartate glutamate receptor (NMDAR) trapping at synapses regulate excitatory neurotransmission and shape cognitive functions. Although NMDAR synaptic destabilization has been associated with severe neurological and psychiatric conditions, tuning NMDAR synaptic trapping to assess its clinical relevance for the treatment of brain conditions remains a challenge. Here, we report that ketamine (KET) and other clinically relevant NMDAR open channel blockers (OCBs) promote interactions between NMDAR and PDZ-domain-containing scaffolding proteins and enhance NMDAR trapping at synapses.

This study presents gait data of middle-aged adults with CP, primarily focusing on the pelvis, and compares pelvic tilt, trunk tilt, and knee flexion between those with and without prior SHL.
Materials And Methods: A consecutive series of 54 adults with CP, a mean age of 36±13 years, and Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) levels I-III were included.

Aims: This scoping review aims to: 1) examine available literature regarding the effects of power training on gait speed, power, and function in ambulatory children with CP and 2) identify the variations in exercise dosage and rehabilitation recommendations for power training and plyometrics in children with CP.
Methods: Four databases (PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, and Cochrane) were searched for papers including power or plyometric training with outcome measures for gait, power or functional performance. ES was calculated for RCTs.
A dysfunction of the glutamatergic transmission, especially of the NMDA receptor (NMDAR), constitutes one of the main biological substrate of psychotic disorders, such as schizophrenia. The NMDAR signaling hypofunction, through genetic and/or environmental insults, would cause a neurodevelopmental myriad of molecular, cellular, and network alterations that persist throughout life. Yet, the mechanisms underpinning NMDAR dysfunctions remain elusive.
